Carpenter and Lead Carpenter

steveworks is a family-run company that is transitioning to become a worker-owned co-op. We are currently hiring for two roles:

·      A Lead Carpenter with at least 5 years of residential construction and management experience. The Lead Carpenter manages and directs the tasks of all crew members and subcontractors on-site to ensure productivity, quality, and safety. They are responsible for clear and effective communication, customer satisfaction, material take-offs and orders, supervising and scheduling subcontractors and crew, inspections, and paperwork. ($33-37/hour, depending on experience)

·      A Carpenter with at least 3 years of residential construction experience. The Carpenter should have rough and finish carpentry skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team. ($25-32/hour, depending on experience)
