DPS is looking for a talented Intern to work in the Construction Management Department of our Framingham, MA office.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Work closely with mid and senior staff to deliver all aspects of construction projects

·         Build specialized Construction Management experience working with a team of experts in life sciences

·         Visit client sites to obtain relevant information

·         Interact with vendors to coordinate construction work

·         Assist with:

o   Proposal Generation

o   Construction Estimating

o   Construction Invoicing

o   Submittal Generation Through Approval

o   RFI Generation Through Approval

o   Punch List Generation

o   Document Control

o   Developing Construction Schedules

o   Contract Buy Out

o   Scope of Work Generation

o   SOP Generation

o   Procore

o   ConstructSecure

o   Contractor Qualification

o   Project Controls

Education & Experience:

·         0-4 years of construction experience

·         Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Deltek Vision or equivalent, Office 365, Procore

Essential Skills:

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Strongly motivated, well organized, and shows professional initiative

·         Desire to learn construction

·         Takes ownership of assignments, can work both independently and as part of the team

·         Comfortable working in a fast-paced and challenging environment

·         Excellent organizational Skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

·         Positive attitude, even under pressure

·         Desire to learn about the R&D, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical industries


·         Travel: 0-20% travel

·         Working Hours: 40 hours, Monday to Friday with flexible work environment

Pay rate: $24/hr
