Under the direction of the VDC Manager, perform a wide range of Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) duties for various Company projects.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
-Facilitate collaboration with VDC technology and processes.
-Review architectural, structural and mechanical design models during preconstruction.
-Extract quantities, perform clash detection and develop 4D project schedules.
-Assist VDC Manager in preparing both project specific and general guidelines and processes.
-Assist VDC Manager with laser scanning of existing conditions.
-Develop models from point clouds for use during coordination.
-Produce VDC material for business development and marketing proposals/interviews.
-Develop project specific site logistics plans with construction team.
