Boston Renovation is a team of Boston licensed general contractors, carpenters, and painters focused on providing the best renovation services in Greater Boston. We believe in service, precision, speed, and availability for all of our customers.

We’re looking for a Construction Assistant Manager. This person should have experience in the construction business (has experience on job sites, has experience painting, etc). Our team started off as painters, and after 10 years are now one of the best kitchen and bathroom renovators/remodelers in Boston. We’re looking for someone to take on the following:

 

1. Scheduling / coordination of jobs and customers (initial client quote views, secondary visits, etc).

2. Supply runner: Gathering all supplies for each job including tools, paint, drywall, nails, etc. Making sure everything is set up for the team prior to them getting there.

3. Customer service / lead management: Making sure customers are quickly responded to, that followup calls are made, and that we’re proactive rather than reactive when it comes to customer service.

4. Learning all of the key roles within the team so that you can be promoted after 2 years and take on more responsibility. This will mean you’ll have to train up the next hire for the role.

Ideal candidate has a passion for construction and wants to be the best. He/she ideally has had experience with painting in the past, understands what supplies are needed, and is a born leader.

We want people who will grow with the org, as we plan to go from a team of seven to a team of 10 by EOY and a team of 15-20 by end of next year.

This employee will have a direct line of contact to the CEO/General Contractor and will largely be that person’s right hand man/woman.
