Max Page is professor of architecture and history at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. A 2014 Rome Prize Fellow, he is the author and editor of numerous books on New York City, urban development, and the politics of the past. He is currently working on a book that proposes a progressive agenda for the future of historic preservation.
